Cradit Named to Head SDSU's College of Business Administration
Dr. J. Dennis Cradit has recently been named dean of San Diego State University's College of Business Administration.
Cradit is currently the dean of the College of Business at Southern Illinois University (SIU) in Carbondale, Illinois where he has established himself as an effective administrator in managing organizational change, meeting academic and financial objectives, and ability and enthusiasm to work effectively with alumni and the external constituencies. He was previously the chair of the marketing department at Florida State University and has held a number of public service appointments at both a local and statewide level. Cradit earned his Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Iowa.
As a prolific researcher, Cradit has done extensive research in the areas of statistical analysis, quantitative marketing research, and business-to-business marketing and he has taught courses relating to consumer behavior, marketing research and international marketing. He has been credited with raising both the visibility and the revenue streams for the SIU's College of Business and in reforming the college's budgetary process.
