Producing Real Estate Leaders
Since 1958

Established in 1958, the real estate education program at San Diego State University was the first of its kind in the California State University System. As such, San Diego State University has a tradition, history and commitment to teaching real estate. The real estate program is part of the business program in the College of Business.

The Corky McMillin Center for Real Estate at San Diego State University. The Center was established with a generous endowment from the McMillin family and named in honor of Corky McMillin, of The Corky McMillin Companies, who was one of Southern California's most prominent home builders for over four decades. The Center exists to enhance the academic experience of real estate students who will become future real estate leaders. In addition, the Center is committed to developing critical and innovative research for the real estate community.

The Corky McMillin Center for Real Estate provides students with excellent opportunities to engage with real estate professionals and participate in supplemental education sessions such as Excel modeling, Yardi, CoStar and Argus training.
