Johnna Capitano

Bio

Johnna Capitano, Ph.D. (Drexel University, 2016) is a management who joined the Fowler College of Business in 2023. Prior to SDSU, Capitano was an associate professor at West Chester University in Pennsylvania, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses.

Her research focuses on newcomer onboarding, the work-family interface, and temporal issues in organizational behavior. She currently serves on the editorial boards of Journal of Organizational Behavior and Journal of Vocational Behavior. Her research has been published in Human Relations, Research in Personnel and Human Resources Management, Journal of Business Ethics, and Journal of Vocational Behavior. Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., she was the senior director of training and organizational development for Aramark.
