Jeff Wang

Bio

Dr. Jeff Wang is an associate professor in the Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy. Since joining SDSU in 2015, he has taught courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Dr. Wang is a passionate researcher in the areas of the options market, voluntary disclosure, corporate governance, and financial analysts. His research has been published in the Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Business Finance & Accounting, Research in Accounting Regulation, Asian Review of Accounting, Managerial Auditing Journal, and Review of Accounting and Finance. He also serves on the editorial board of the Managerial Auditing Journal. Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign (UIUC) and is a CFA charter holder. Prior to entering academia, Dr. Wang worked as a management trainee at the Standard Chartered Bank.
