Kathleen Krentler is a Professor of Marketing and Director of the Undergraduate Program for the College of Business Administration at San Diego State University. Dr. Krentler teaches Principles of Marketing, Marketing Management, and Strategic Marketing Planning at the undergraduate and graduate levels. There are 6,000 students enrolled in undergraduate programs in the College of Business including a growing number in the Integrated Marketing Communications specialization offered through the Department of Marketing.
Professor Krentler has published more than 40 articles in journals and conference proceedings throughout her career, with special emphasis in the fields of strategy, consumer decision-making, and social sector marketing. She is a past president of the Academy of Marketing Science (AMS), a global organization for marketing academicians. The AMS designated her a Distinguished Fellow of the Academy in 1996.
Dr. Krentler has been instrumental in the development of a graduate level dual degree program in IMC between San Diego State University.
