SDSU's College of Business Administration Named as Best of the Best for Second Straight Year
For the second year in a row, SDSU's College of Business Administration was named as one of the Top M.B.A. Schools in the U.S. by Professional Woman's Magazine in its 2014 Best of the Best Lists.
Also for the second year in a row, SDSU was named among the magazine's Top Colleges & Universities, making it the only university in San Diego to be honored in both categories.
Professional Woman's Magazine surveyed and evaluated hundreds of top U.S. companies and universities to determine their annual Best of the Best Lists which are intended as a resource for the publication's readers, jobseekers, businesspeople, students and consumers. The magazine's stated goal of the evaluations is to "encourage active outreach and diversity policies among corporations and government agencies." "SDSU and the College of Business Administration are among only six colleges and universities to be named to Professional Woman's Magazine's Best of the Best Lists for two straight years, putting us in the same category as Cornell, Harvard, UCLA, University of Chicago and Yale," said Dr. Gangaram Singh, interim dean of SDSU's College of Business Administration. "Our outstanding outreach and diversity efforts have provided many women, underserved and first-generation students with the education they needed to help them launch their successful business careers."
In the past six months, SDSU's College of Business Administration has been named among the top M.B.A. programs in the U.S. by BloombergBusinessweek, Forbes, Military Times and U.S. News & World Report.
