SDSU College of Business Wins Two Awards at SDSU’s Student Research Symposium
Two groups of students from SDSU’s College of Business Administration were declared Dean’s Award winners at the 8th Annual Student Research Symposium held March 6 and 7, 2015.
Three students, led by SDSU management senior, Caitlin Clark and management information systems senior, Stefanie Davis, won for their presentation of “Cakes Be We: Quality Cake Systems”. The presentation originated from their small business consulting class (BA 404) and they were mentored by marketing professor, Dr. Don Sciglimpaglia of the Small Business Consulting Center.
The other award was earned by group of five business students and was also led by Caitlin Clark. Their presentation, “Sales for Social Impact: AZAB” had previously been presented to a 3M management team at the organization’s headquarters in St. Paul, Minn., where they were applauded for their creative community focus. The students were mentored by marketing professor, Dr. Heather Honea and management lecturer, Dan McGinley.
